Vài nhận xét cá nhân vế sắc độ của ống kính ASPH và loại pre-ASPH:
ASPH thường có màu sắc rất rực rở, nhất là sắc trời ở nhiệt độ 5200K màu trơì rất xanh, có khả năng ngã về xanh đen phần trên ảnh, loại sắc này rất thích hơp cho các ãnh lưu niệm (cartes postales), màu vàng màu đõ củng rất dậy.Độ tương phản ASPH cao hơn độ tương phản pre-ASPH nên dễ tạo cảm giác ASPH nét hơn pre-ASPH.
Loại pre-ASPH, cho sắc độ đen trắng gần với sắc độ đen trắng của phim âm bản hơn ASPH (!). Màu sắc pre-ASPH cũng nhẹ nhàng hơn ASPH. Dĩ nhiên đây không là ưu điểm hay khuyết điểm của ống kính mà do ý thích mỗi người xữ dụng.
